Massive landslide destroys home in Washington state

March 27 - A powerful landslide damages one house in Whidbey Island, Washington and threatens two dozen more in the surrounding community. Deborah Gembara reports.

Washington State residents say they were woken up by a thundering boom -- as a landslide shifted parts of this Whidby Island community
It damaged at least one and left a road leading to a dozen other homesunpassable.
Stunned locals assessed the sharp dropoff created by the early morning ground swell.
There were no injuries, but the landslide cut off power and water supply to the area. Authorities are encouraging to residents to evacuate their homes as they wait for the ground to settle.
