It's a little unusual … but in this Colombian town - donkeys are king for a day.
Every year on Easter Sunday the town holds its annual Donkey Festival, which is like Halloween for donkeys.
The costumes are creative.
Proud owners dress up their animals as leading public figures, soccer players and even the new pope.
As you may suspect - the first donkey pontiff took home the prize for best costume.
SOUNDBITE: owner of winning donkey Lewin Artega saying (Spanish):
"Today was "Habemus Donkey" ("We have a donkey") here at the San Antero Festival. The conclave in their wisdom selected Francis "Donkey" Bergoglio. The pope of the donkeys in San Antero festival."
The tradition began in the early 20th century as a way to recognize the hard work done by donkeys in the farm fields.
