Justin Bieber's pet side kick remains in quarantine.
The pop star's capuchin monkey was detained by German customs officials after arriving in the country without proper paperwork.
Now, almost a week later, Mally the monkey is still in custody at a Munich animal shelter - and is causing quite a stir.
SOUNDBITE: Karl-Heniz Joachim, animal shelter, saying (German):
"On Maundy Thursday we received a call from the customs office in Munich that a monkey will be sent to us which they had to impound, and whether we would take him. Of course we took him, it is an animal that needs our help. And yesterday we learned that it was the monkey of Justin Bieber. And ever since the phones haven't stopped ringing."
Bieber had been in Munich for a concert and he left for Vienna by bus, without Mally.
