ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION).
STORY: Cheers in the south London area of Brixton erupted on Monday night) when a group of hooded people climbed onto a local cinema's roof to rearrange a film festival listing on the sign above it to read: "Margaret Thatcher's dead LOL" -- meaning laugh out loud.
In video obtained by Reuters on Tuesday, the hooded people that climbed the roof initially spelled out Thatcher's Christian name wrong as "Margret", missing the second A, though this was soon corrected.
Letters were also seen being thrown from the cinema roof.
As Britain buzzed with the news on Monday afternoon that the "Iron Lady" had died, not everyone was in mourning.
In Brixton - the scene of fierce rioting in the 1980s, blamed on deep social divisions as well as racial tensions - a party was hastily convened, where, as police watched on, others arrived clutching cans of lager and bottles of wine and shouting 'she's dead!'
