Amid growing tensions, North Korea issues yet another threat against the South, this time warning it is "ready to fire" warheads at enemy strongholds and turn them into a "sea of flames." Japanese media reported on Thursday that a North Korean missile launcher was moved into firing position, with rockets facing skyward. South Korean officials also believe the North has moved five medium-range missiles to its east coast and may engage in test launches in another attempted display of military strength. The latest provocation comes as South Korea's Unification Minister urged the North to stop issuing threats. (SOUNDBITE) (Korean) SOUTH KOREAN UNIFICATION MINISTER RYOO KIHL-JAE SAYING: "The government expresses regret that North Korea continues to threaten to provoke us and the international community. We strongly urge North Korea not to continue creating a crisis on the peninsula." Relations chilled in February following a missile test by the North, and worsened earlier this month when Pyongyang announced it was shutting down a joint industrial park it shares with the south. The South is calling for Northern officials to discuss reopening the park, a move, supported by China.
