George Jones, a classic country singer with a voice full of raw honky-tonk emotion and a life full of turmoil, died on Friday at the age of 81. Jones, whose career spanned more than six decades, had been hospitalized since April 18. Alcohol and cocaine frequently derailed his career and at one point his reputation for canceling performances earned him the nickname No-Show Jones. Jones was still touring last year, although health problems forced him to postpone shows. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge along with Prince Harry visited the new Warner Bros Studio in Leavesden, which was best known for being the shooting location of the Harry Potter movies. The Royals were given a tour of the sets, costumes and vehicles from the recent Dark Knight movies, and Prince William took time to ride some of the movies' vehicles. The three royals then went on to explore the Great Hall from the Harry Potter movies, with J.K. Rowling in tow. While Harry explored the sets, Will and Kate indulged in a magic battle with wands. A Russian judge on Friday (April 26) refused to grant parole to jailed Pussy Riot punk rock group member Nadezhda Tolokonnikova. The 23 year old was convicted of hooliganism motivated by religious hatred along with two other bandmates, and is currently serving out a two year sentence in a remote Russian penal colony. The three members of Pussy Riot were arrested last year for staging an anti-Putin performance in Moscow's biggest cathedral.
