Bangladesh buries the bodies of unidentified victims

May 1 - A woman discovers her relative is among the dead as locals prepare to bury the bodies of eighteen unidentified victims from the Bangladesh building collapse that killed more than 400 people. Deborah Gembara reports.

In Bangladesh, they are burying the dead. These are the bodies of victims who haven't been identified --- 18 in total. Officials were waiting to allow time for families to claim them but have been forced to move forward because the they are decomposing.
At the cemetery, as members of a local Muslim charity are unloading the bodies, this woman discovers that her relative is among the dead . (Wailing)
The others were buried in graves marked simply by numbers.
The tragedy has taken a particularly cruel twist for some who have identified loved ones only to discover a different family believed the body belonged to their relative. In those instances, authorities are sending the bodies for DNA testing.
The death toll from garment factory collapse has climbed to over 400. It has also raised questions about unsafe working conditions in the country which is now the world second largest clothing exporter behind China.
