Europe Day Ahead: U.S. jobs numbers – hope but no respite?

May 2 - Traders both sides of the Atlantic will be hoping for better news from U.S. non-farm payrolls on Friday after a slew of recent sluggish data. Elsewhere RBS and BNP Paribas report earnings.

And of the weakened US nonfarm payrolls will be in focus traders from both sides of the Atlantic jobs numbers. Expected to have increased by 145000. That's according to a Reuters survey of economists. -- jobs increases stumbled to a nine month low of 88000.
