Taipei was the latest stop for Will and Jaden Smith on their promotional tour of Asia for "After Earth." But it wasn't a usual father-son day out as this pair got to sign autographs for their frenzied fans and also got to get a crash course in how to show their love for each other Mandarin-style. "After Earth" sees the pair fittingly play father and son. They crash land on Earth 1,000 years after the last humans left, and while Will's character is incapacitated through injury, it's up to his son to single-handedly find a way off the now dangerous planet. SOUNDBITE (English) Actor, Will Smith, saying: "I think there is a couple of aspects, in the movie my character is a great general and warrior, and his son is trying to come up and become like him, so I think it's similar in that sense." SOUNDBITE (English) Actor, Jaden Smith, saying: "Yeah it's definitely similar in that sense." SOUNDBITE (English) Actor, Will Smith, saying: "And you know I am a movie star, my son is trying to come up behind me." SOUNDBITE (English) Actor, Jaden Smith, saying: "Very similar, it's very similar. Except we don't crash land on..." SOUNDBITE (English) Actor, Will Smith, saying: "We don't crash land on earth in real life, we have yet to do that and we are going to do our best to not do that." "After Earth" goes on release internationally from the beginning of June.
