Superhero sequel "Iron Man 3" rocketed to the top of U.S. and Canadian box office charts, kicking off Hollywood's summer movie season with $175.3 million in weekend ticket sales for the second-biggest film opening of all time. Combined with international sales, the movie from Walt Disney Co's Marvel studio brought its global haul to an estimated $680.1 million. "Iron Man 3" finished second on the all-time list behind "Avengers" and ahead of the July 2011 release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2," which opened with $169.2 million.
Keira Knightley married her rocker boyfriend James Righton over the weekend in a discreet ceremony in the French village of Mazan. The 28 year old Oscar nominee got engaged a year ago to Righton, who plays in British indie band Klaxons. The couple have been dating for about two years.
Justin Timberlake will embark on an international tour in October - his first in six years - and will release new songs at the end of September. The second installment of "The 20/20 Experience" will include 10 news songs, and out-takes from the March release, and is due on on September 30. The North American leg of Timberlake's tour will begin on October 31 in Montreal and will follow an abbreviated summer stadium tour with rapper Jay-Z.
