Prince Harry continued his week-long visit to the U.S. with a second day in Washington where he paid his respects to soldiers killed in the Afghanistan and Iraq wars at Arlington National Cemetery on Friday (May 10). The prince is expected to use his U.S. visit to show support for both wounded U.S. and British military personnel.
Randy Jackson is leaving 'American Idol' after being a judge on the show for 12 years. He said he was going to focus on his other business ventures. Jackson made the announcement amid falling ratings and rampant rumors about the future makeup of the celebrity panel. Ratings have slumped this season for "American Idol," which last year lost its eight-year crown as the most-watched show on U.S. television.
Miley Cyrus is deemed the hottest girl of 2013, this according to men's lifestyle magazine Maxim. The singer beat out 99 other women to take the top spot on their Hot 100 list. The former Disney star was so excited at the news that she beat Maxim to their official announcement, tweeting days before that she was thrilled to be crowned No. 1.
Leonardo DiCaprio and his foundation have teamed up with Christie's for a charity auction to benefit environmental causes. Thirty-three works, many created for and donated to the auction by some of the world's top artists, aims to raise as much as $18 million to protect endangered species and their habitats.
