Amateur video shows panic on the streets of a town in Turkey near the Syrian border as a second car bomb explodes.
Twin car bombs kill dozens leaving residents covered in blood and confusion.
The video which could not be independently verified by Reuters comes as
Turkish officials suspect Syrian involvement.
No one is claiming responsibility for the attack.
Buildings are in ruins. Burnt out cars litter the streets.
(SOUNDBITE) (Turkish) EYEWITNESS, ISMAIL AKIN, SAYING:
"I was sitting in my pharmacy and suddenly we heard a massive explosion. When I looked from my window I saw wounded people and dead bodies."
The bombing increased fears that Syria's civil war is spreading to neighboring states despite renewed diplomatic efforts to end the violence.
(SOUNDBITE) (Turkish) UNIDENTIFIED EYEWITNESS SAYING:
"We were standing at the corner and suddenly it happened. There was so many wounded people that we could not decide who to help first."
At a nearby hospital relatives await news of their loved ones.
Others already know the verdict with the death toll now standing at 40.
