Uncertainty for Muslims in Myanmar bracing for storm

May 16 - An approaching cyclone is adding to the uncertainty faced by Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar who have been displaced by last year's unrest. Deborah Lutterbeck reports.

Nearly a thousand muslims in Myanmar are now finding shelter in a school as a cyclone threatens the country. The storm has already killed at least seven people and displaced thousands in Sri Lanka earlier this week as it tracked across the Bay of Bengal towards Bangladesh. Many muslims have already lost their homes due to violence in the largely Buddhist country. (SOUNDBITE) (Burmese) HLA HLA MYINT, 55-YEAR-OLD MUSLIM EVACUEE SAYING: "If the government supports us I want to go back to my village. If not, how can we survive without jobs, foods and homes in our village."
