Blasts at Iraqi Sunni mosque kill 43

(WARNING: SOME GRAPHIC CONTENT) May 17 - Two bombs exploded outside a Sunni Muslim mosque in the Iraqi city of Baquba killing at least 43 people in one of the deadliest attacks in a month-long surge in sectarian violence. Deborah Gembara reports.

***GRAPHIC IMAGES*** Panic in the aftermath of a two blasts outside a Sunni mosque in the Iraqi city of Baquba. At least 43 people were killed in the bombings which came as worshippers left Friday prayers. The attack --- just 30 miles northeast of Baghdad, is the latest in a month-surge of sectarian violence. According to U.N. figures, 712 were people killed in Iraq last month -- the bloodiest period in the coutnry in five years.
