George Michael has been hospitalized after getting into a car accident in London. The singer was treated for some minor cuts and bruises, but is otherwise fine. Michael has suffered a string of accidents and health scares - most recently a battle with severe pneumonia in 2011.
Emma Watson hit the red carpet for day two of the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday (May 16). The actress was on hand to promote her latest film, "The Bling Ring," based on the real life gang that robbed the homes of Hollywood celebrities. Watson walked the carpet with the movie's director, Sofia Coppola.
The films at Cannes were overshadowed, however, by movie-worthy robbery. More than one million dollars worth of Chopard jewels were stolen from a local hotel. The jewels, which were supposedly being held in a safe of one of the rooms, were to be loaned to stars on the festival's red carpets.
Finally, after nine seasons, television series "The Office" ended its U.S. run. The workplace comedy was based on the British show of the same name, which premiered in 2001. During its time on U.S. network NBC, it picked up four Emmys and a Peabody award.
