"We will both miss him terribly": widow of slain British soldier

May 24 - The family of a British soldier murdered on a south London street say he was a ''family man'' who always wanted to be a soldier. Deborah Lutterbeck reports.

Lee Rigby was a solider, father, son, brother and a husband.
He was hacked to death on a south London street Wednesday.
Two suspects are being held in the hospital.
Rigby's widow tries to cope with the grief.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) WIDOW OF LEE RIGBY, REBECCA RIGBY, SAYING:
"I just want to say that I love Lee, I always will and I'm proud to be his wife. He was due to come up this weekend so we could continue our future together as a family. He was a devoted father to our son Jack and we will both miss him terribly."
His stepfather Ian Rigby remembers a boy who always wanted to be a soldier.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) STEP-FATHER OF LEE RIGBY, IAN RIGBY, SAYING:
"Lee's dream when growing up was always to join the army which he succeeded in doing. He was dedicated and loved his job. Lee adored and cared a lot for all his family and he was very much a family man looking out for his wife, his young son."
On the streets of Southeast London -- shock at the events.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) TIM FENN, SAYING:
"Disbelief, you know you just can't believe this is happening or that something like that would happen."
The attack was the first deadly strike in mainland Britain since local Islamists killed dozens in London in 2005.
