A quick Pitt stop in Berlin on Tuesday (June 4) for Brad to promote his upcoming movie "World War Z." In his latest role, the Hollywood star plays U.N. representative Gerry Lane who's trying to stop a zombie pandemic threatening to destroy mankind. Brad's company Plan B Entertainment bought the film rights six years ago. It's one of this summer's big blockbusters and will go head to head with other releases such as "Men of Steel" at the box office. "World War Z" marks the actor's first foray as the star and producer of his own potential franchise. SOUNDBITE: Brad Pitt, saying (English): "The fascinating thing about the book is the approach of it as a pandemic and who is to say. We've had some scary moments in this and this last decade, so who is to say something wouldn't kick off again." And after the film's release being delayed for several months, "World War Z" is finally set to open internationally from June 19. Exciting times for Pitt fans ... ... though some were clearly celebrating a different occasion. Angelina Jolie was also in Berlin to support her fiancé, despite turning 38 that day. But being a devoted partner will hopefully pay off, as Brad revealed how he was planning to spoil his lady once the official part of the day was over. SOUNDBITE: Brad Pitt, saying (English): "You know, something for the global woman, something for the mother, something. Something dirty. Always."
