More details surrounding the death of James Gandolfini have surfaced. The actor was in his Rome hotel room when he became ill at about 10 p.m. local time. A spokesperson for the hotel told NBC's "Today" show that the star's son called the reception desk to summon help after he discovered his father in the bathroom, apparently having suffered a heart attack. The actor arrived at a hospital 20 minutes later, reportedly having died in transit. The hospital continued resuscitation efforts for 40 minutes before he was pronounced dead. Results of an autopsy have not yet been released, but hospital personnel have said they believe it to be "natural causes."
