Overwhelmed by water. Flash floods in Alberta, Canada, caused extensive damage in several towns on Thursday. The floods also destroyed parts of the TransCanada highway, leaving trucks there stranded. Emergency crews had to rescue some residents, while others were caught off guard by the amount of water in their neighborhoods. (SOUNDBITE) (English) EVACUEE TRENT WHITESIDE: "Our cul de sac had a little bit of water but then I went out for a cigarette and we have a river going down our road in a matter of ten minutes.
