The team of retired spies are back at work for the sequel "Red 2".
Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren and Mary-Louise Parker team up again to track down a super weapon that could ruin the world. This time Anthony Hopkins and Asian star Byung Hun Lee join the cast.
Using only their old school tricks and wit, comedy ensues as they cross through Paris, London and Moscow fighting off assassins and dirty government officials.
Mirren said she was surprised the first movie did well and was eager to reprise her role.
"Certainly very happy with the success of the first movie. And incredibly happy that the success of the first movie has lead to a second movie. You know, that was just, when I heard that they were in part thinking of a sequel I was absolutely over the moon. I thought, clear my diary, I don't know when it's going, but just clear my diary, I want to be available for that."
The original film was released in 2010 and grossed $186.5 million (USD) worldwide at the box office.
Mirren, who won an Oscar for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in "The Queen", had the chance to flex her action muscles. However, she made sure her character wasn't a senseless killer.
"I was like please, I don't want to shoot people. You know, it's got to be very clear that just disabling them, I'm not killing them," said Mirren.
"Red 2" will be released in U.S. theaters on July 19.
