Injured soldier: How the Pentagon left me broke

U.S. Army combat medic Shawn Aiken returned from Afghanistan injured and soon found that a bureaucratic error had wiped out his salary, and left him broke. Aiken and his wife were forced to pawn their belongings and go to churches and food banks to seek aid.

How is I had severe stress. Because. Not being able to support my family. We're going to. Food banks churches. We're looking for outside resources. I've been prayer and very proactive. I'm getting my. It's still has not fixed. Me and my feeling struggle. Month two months to put food on the table. And to make ends meet. I. Fifty army. Isn't gonna take care of me and I need to. Go as high as I can to make sure that we are taking care.
