Here -- three stories that we'll take you -- on -- in at number three Nike sales picked up in North America and China business in North America -- story on the strength of the boom in basketball footwear and apparel. In China and Nike boosted profits by beating up local competitors that customers flocked to its -- election but Carol in the region. A of America analyst who rates the stock a buy think growing gross margins could keep Nike shares moving higher through the end of the year. Shares of Nike are up 16% and 2013. The US housing market may be coming back but KB home sure isn't benefiting. The company was trying to and that's more than one billion dollar and 2013 on acquisitions and development. And so far isn't paying off analysts are expecting home -- to post a quarterly loss when it reports. And with fears of rising interest rates there might not be much good news afterward. The stock has been volatile but is up 19%. Since the start of the year. And your top story again is the fact that governor Jerome Powell is set to speak on nonconventional monetary policy. That's what he's calling it -- fancy term for quantitative easing markets will be key in on his opinions about the costs and benefits of the Fed's policy. The road to a stronger US economy and went tapering might occur. On the -- US consumer spending likely picked up in May.
