Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay can draw a crowd… even in Singapore.
He is here at Tian Tian chicken rice near Signapore's Chinatown to beef up his knowledge about one the country's most popular dishes.
His teacher and future competitor is 64-year-old Foo Kui Lian who has been selling her famed chicken rice since 1986.
Her recipe has been recently voted as one of Singapore's most popular meals.
Ramsay is to face Foo and two other top street vendors in a cookoff.

"I love a challenge. I hate playing safe. I love the vulnerability. And I think more than anything, there are some very talented chefs here."
The culinary showdown will he held on July 7th.
The public will be able to sample the dishes prepared by the local vendors and Ramsay before voting for their preferred version.
