Dozens of well wishers continued to pray for Nelson Mandela on Friday, outside the Pretoria hospital where the former South African president remains in a "critical but stable" condition.
Young and old, including church groups, arrive at the hospital every day to pray for the ailing statesman. Some place balloons, flowers, cards, posters and flags along the hospital wall which has become a shrine to Mandela.
The 94-year-old was admitted to hospital on June 8 for a recurring lung infection, his fourth hospitalisation in six months.
While Mandela lies in hospital, a row over grave sites has split his family.
The feud between factions of Nelson Mandela's family has descended into soap-opera farce, with his grandson and heir, Mandla, accusing relatives of adultery and milking the legacy of the revered anti-apartheid leader.
