July 15 - Americans from coast to coast continue to protest over the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Julie Noce reports.

WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY CAUSED-- Demonstrators in New York took to the streets Sunday to express their outrage over the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. More than 1000 people gathered in Times Square holding signs and chanting slogans. The rally started earlier in the day but carried on late into Sunday night with police failing to control the crowds. George Zimmerman was acquitted in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, and unarmed black teenager in a case that polarized the U.S. and drew attention to racial profiling and gun control. (SOUNDBITE) (English) DEREK PRINCE, SPORTS COACH, SAYING: "It's really tough. Where it seems as if, as all these cases continue to pile up that there is a nationwide devaluation of the black life, the black experience. So to deal with that and to know that you are guilty automatically which you can't change if you wanted to, which I don't it's an adjustment to have to get used to." In Los Angeles, more demonstrations over the ruling. The U.S. Justice Department said it is evaluating whether it has enough evidence to support prosecution of Zimmerman in federal court.
