During a second day of answering lawmaker's questions, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke told a Senate finance committee that it is still too early to predict if the Fed will slow bond purchases as early as September.
Bernanke also said economic growth would be faster if it was not for a fiscal drag and said student loan debt is not big enough to cause a financial crisis on par with the housing meltdown.
