The media frenzy reached fever pitch on Monday (July 22) when news broke that William and Kate are now parents to a baby boy.

With the baby born at 4:24 pm local time, Australia and New Zealand were waking up as the news broke.
For weeks, photographers and TV crews have been awaiting the birth alongside fans outside a London hospital.
