July 22 - From live TV coverage to a gaggle of royal baby experts, the world's media was in a frenzy on Monday over the arrival of the future heir to the British throne. Sarah Charlton reports.

The media frenzy reached fever pitch on Monday (July 22) when news broke that William and Kate are now parents to a baby boy. From Canada, to China the announcement of the new heir has been reported around the globe. With the baby born at 4:24 pm local time, Australia and New Zealand were waking up as the news broke. For weeks, photographers and TV crews have been awaiting the birth alongside fans outside a London hospital. But the "Great Kate Wait" is far from over, as crews prepare for a first glimpse of the young prince.
