Yves Rossy - also known as Jetman - weaves around a Boeing B-17 bomber in the Wisconsin skies.
It's a practice flight for an upcoming public display which could attract half a million spectators.
Being a fighter pilot and an airline captain wasn't enough for the Swiss daredevil, who made his first successful jet-powered flight in 2006.
Rossy says he wants to train a fellow 'Jetman' to fly with him but his ultimate goal is to share his design with everyone.
Which could send a lot of jet-powered enthusiasts on the ultimate high.
