July 31 - Syrian rebels say government forces carried out air strikes on Douma as the United Nations announced plans to send teams into the country to investigate reports about the use of chemical weapons. Deborah Gembara reports.

Dust and confusion in the aftermath of air strikes on the Syrian city of Douma in this latest video posted to a social media website who content Reuters cannot independently verify.
While in Damascus --- Men, said to be Syrian rebels set their sites on a military tank --- the body of a soldier can be seen nearby.
Fighting in Syria shows no signs of letting up and on Wednesday -- the United Nations confirmed plans to deploy teams to three locations inside the country to investigate reports about the use of chemicals weapons. Both sides have denied using chemical weapons.
