Russian and Chinese soldiers have joined forces for a joint anti-terrorism drills in the Russian Urals Mountains region.
The Russian hosts welcomed their guest soldiers with a traditional offering of bread, for the drill, called "Peace Mission 2013" which runs through Aug. 25.
The Chinese side brought armoured vehicles by railway and flew over several armed and transport helicopters for the drill.
According to Chinese and Russian media, troops are training to simulate combat and battle planning.
