What do you get if you cross a tornado with some sharks? Sharknado, obviously. The movie which sees a group of people fight back against the flying killer fish terrorising L.A has already been aired on TV channel Syfy but now it's taking to the big screen with special midnight screenings at 200 cinemas across the US. Cast members Ian Ziering from Beverly Hills 90210, Tara Reid from American Pie and Cassie Scerbo attended one of them to explain what the fuss is all about. SOUNDBITE Actress Cassie Scerbo, saying: (English) "Clearly, there's never been any other film that's had sharks blowing up and tornadoes, so it's something different." SOUNDBITE Actress Tara Reid, saying: (English) "The fact that they have tornadoes and sharks eating L.A., people dying in their pools, none of them react to anything, it's just funny, so we enjoyed it. It's a good laugh." Despite its ridiculous plot which ignores all laws of physics, the movie has been getting good reviews with rottentomatoes.com giving it 90% fresh. SOUNDBITE Actress Cassie Scerbo, saying: (English) "It's funny, it's campy, it's a genre film, it's different, and I think that's why it's been a hit." SOUNDBITE Actor Ian Ziering, saying: (English) "I read the script, and really had to employ a lot of imagination just to piece it together." SOUNDBITE Actor Ian Ziering, saying: (English) "When I read the part where I got to chainsaw my way out of the belly of a shark, it was like 'I have to do this'." If you really love your tornados and your sharks, there's a second Sharknado out next year.
