It looks like Katy Perry is trying to shed the candy-colored, sugar pop image that made her such a huge success. The singer has released a series of teaser ads for her upcoming album "Roar," in which she's seen burning and burying the now iconic images made famous from her "Teenage Dream" album. In one ad, Perry stands at a funeral amid a crowd of mourners, burying her peppermint dress. In another ad, Perry sets fire to a blue wig. The ads seem to hint that Perry's "Roar" album, due out October 22, will reveal a darker, perhaps edgier side of the singer. "Teenage Dream" and its accompanying imagery - bright wigs, whipped cream bras, and candy-obsessed clothing - was a huge commercial success for Perry, with six singles, five of which went to number one on the Billboard charts.
