Street battles in eastern Syria as rebels take the fight to government forces.
President Bashar al-Assad controls much of southern and central Syria. Insurgents hold northern areas near the Turkish border and along the border with Iraq.
The video, which can not be independently verified, comes as the battle for control of the country is leaving a legacy of loss and destruction.
The unrest began more than two years ago with peaceful protests. It has since descended into civil war costing the lives of at least 100,000 people.
