Canadian police discover 40 thirsty pythons in a motel room in Brantford, about 100 kilometers outside of Toronoto. The snakes ranged in size from 30 centimeters, to 130 centimeters and were being kept in plastic storage bins. (SOUNDBITE) (English) SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS INSPECTOR, BRANDON JAMES SAYING: "We found very overcrowded conditions with approximately 40 snakes in several large totes, some smaller totes, but definitely overcrowded in need of some water." It's not legal to keep pythons in your home in Brantford. Last week two young boys in Eastern Canada died when a 13 foot python attacked them in their sleep.
