(SOUNDBITE) (English) PRINCE WILLIAM, DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE, SAYING: "I think the last few weeks for me have been just a very different emotional experience, something I never thought I would feel myself." Prince William opens up about his new life as a dad. In his first TV interview since becoming a father, William tells CNN that fatherhood has changed his perspective on life. (SOUNDBITE) (English) PRINCE WILLIAM, DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE, SAYING: "I find, again it's only been a short period, but a lot of things affect me differently now." The Prince opens up about diaper changes, sleepless nights and managing baby George. (SOUNDBITE) (English) PRINCE WILLIAM, DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE, SAYING: "He's a little bit of a rascal, let's put it that way, so he either reminds me of my brother or me when I was younger, I'm not sure…He does like to keep having his nappy changed. And, I did the first nappy, yeah, it's a badge of honor…He's growing quite quickly actually, he is a little fighter, he is wriggling around quite a lot and he doesn't want to go to sleep that much which is a little bit of a problem" George, the third-in-line to the British throne, was born July 22 -- amid cheers and a barrage of camera flashes. But William says he and wife Kate were happy to show their new baby to the world. REPORTER ASKING: "You were comfortable there? (SOUNDBITE) (English) PRINCE WILLIAM, DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE, SAYING: "I think I was on such a high anyway and so was Catherine about George, that really we were happy to show him off to anybody who wanted to see him, as any new parent knows, you are only too happy to show off your new child and, you know, proclaim that he is the best looking, the best everything." Both William and Kate are expected to be hands on parents -- evident when William himself drove his family away from the hospital. (SOUNDBITE) (English) PRINCE WILLIAM, DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE, SAYING: "I very much feel if I can do it myself I want to do it myself. There are times when you can't do it yourself and the system takes over or it is appropriate to do things differently. But I think driving your son and your wife away from hospital was really important to me. And I don't like fuss so it's much easier to do it yourself." And I don't like fuss so it's much easier to do it yourself." REPORTER SAYING: "And you didn't stall" "I didn't stall, but it is an automatic so it's all right" Mom and baby are doing great, says William. But dad is looking forward to resuming his job as a rescue helicopter pilot. (SOUNDBITE) (English) PRINCE WILLIAM, DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE, SAYING: "I am actually quite looking forward to going back to work. Get some sleep, yeah."
