ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: The wait is nearly over for the hundreds of fans camped out in Leicester Square waiting for the world premiere of 'One Direction: This is Us' - the documentary that follows the boyband from their beginnings on a reality TV show to becoming one of the biggest touring bands in the world. Leicester Square's central garden has been fenced off to contain the fans who have waited for days to get a glimpse of their idols Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Harry Styles. Samantha Chapman was one British fan who had a front row spot to see the young group: "when you see them, it just instantly gives you happiness, so it's just strange." Fans from Italy, Venezuela, and Spain also mingled among the die-hard British fans at the premiere. An Italian girl called Sylvia had been on holiday in the UK but when she heard that her favourite boyband would be making an appearance for the premiere. She explained "They're so cute, they can make you laugh, they can brighten up your day. It's really difficult to explain it in English but in my own mind I have all the phrases to say but I can't say." "One Direction: This is Us" will go on release in the UK on August 29th.
