Supporters of deposed Chinese politician Bo Xilai rally to make sure he gets a fair trial. The small group gathered outside the courthouse where the former Chongqing Party chief is slated to face abuse of power, corruption and bribery charges Thursday. (SOUNDBITE) (Mandarin) 35 YEAR-OLD RESIDENT OF SHIJIAZHUANG CITY, HEBEIPROVINCE, BAO RUNPU SAYING: "If his own case isn't carried out fairly, then there's nowhere to go for us average poor people from the lowest level of society," this demonstrator says. "There will never be any hope, nor will we ever be able to get fair or just treatment." Bo is accused of challenging and ignoring the will of the ruling Communist Party, from which he was expelled - sources told Reuters that the charge is so sensitive it could be heard in secret a day early. But there was no immediate sign outside the court in Jinan City Wednesday that proceedings had begun. Bo's wife and his former police chief have both been convicted and jailed in related cases, which stem from the murder of British businessman Neil Heywood in November 2011. Many Chinese still support Bo and his populist, left-leaning policies, and ascribe his downfall to ideological differences and not any crime he committed.
