Aug. 22 - Embattled San Diego Mayor Bob Filner could resign this week as part of an agreement reached in the sexual harassment lawsuit filed against him. Linda So reports.

STORY: Embattled San Diego Mayor Bob Filner could resign by the end of the week as part of an agreement reached in a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against him.
The city attorney says the settlement was reached on Wednesday after three days of mediation. The proposed deal is now awaiting final approval from the City Council.
SOUNDBITE (English) JAN GOLDSMITH, SAN DIEGO CITY ATTORNEY, SAYING:
"It will be presented to the city council at a closed session council meeting on Friday at 1 PM at City Hall."
This week, an 18th alleged victim came forward accusing the 70 year old mayor of inappropriate contact during a meeting at his office three months ago.
SOUNDBITE (English) DIANNE YORK, 18TH ALLEGED VICTIM, SAYING:
"When we posed for the photo, there was a hand that went to my back to my buttocks, and I was shocked. It was inappropriate, and I was startled at the time."
Calls for his resignation have gotten louder as more accusers stepped forward. But Filner has refused to step down. He was spotted inside City Hall on Wednesday.
