TV AND WEB RESTRICTIONS~*NONE* The cleanup begins in a Northern Israeli town after a rocket attack from neighbouring Lebanon. (SOUNDBITE) (English) ISRAELI DEFENCE FORCE SPOKESMAN, PETER LERNER, SAYING: "This afternoon four rockets were fired at Israel from southern Lebanon. One of them was intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system and two landed in populated areas, luckily not injuring any body. We are currently watching the border, and aware, but we feel, at this time, it is an actually an isolated incident." Israel retaliated by bombing what it described as a "terror site" belonging to a Palestinian militant group - the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command, south of Beirut. Local media reported that the group was surprised at the attack because the earlier rocket fire was claimed by a separate al Qaeda-linked Sunni Muslim group. Shiite militant group Hezbollah does not appear to have been involved in the attack. The Iran-backed Shiite militia holds sway in south Lebanon and has been involved in firing rockets at Israel in the past. Israel briefly invaded Lebanon during an inconclusive 2006 conflict with Hezbollah.
