Sept. 11 - Anthony Weiner's hopes of a comeback as New York's next mayor evaporated with his last place finish in the city's Democratic primary. Deborah Gembara reports.

New Yorkers said they've seen just enough of Anthony Weiner. SOUNDBITE, ANTHONY WEINER SAYING: "We had the best ideas. Sadly, I was an imperfect messenger." The famously over exposed ex-congressman came in last in New York City's Democratic primary, with just five percent of the vote. Weiner, just months earlier was leading the race but saw his campaign collapse after new racy images of him surfaced. He resisted repeated calls to pull out of the race, redoubling his campaign efforts. SOUNDBITE, ANTHONY WEINER SAYING: "When I was on the subway and at church services, they told me not quit. Well there was never any 'quit' in this campaign." Bill DeBlasio, a fierce critic of current Mayor Michael Bloomberg won the race, but could still face a runoff in October.
