A suicide bomber killed at least three Afghan civilians and wounded three others in an attack targeting a convoy of NATO and Afghan troops in the southern city of Kandahar on Saturday (September 14), officials said.
The bomber detonated his car loaded with explosive near the Afghan and NATO troops' convoy, official added.
The Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack.
Friday, at least three people were killed when insurgents attacked the U.S. consulate in Herat, Afghanistan.
