ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) High tides hit the Texas coastline over the weekend and a coastal bend flood advisory remains in effect until Tuesday. Higher than normal sea levels and dangerous rip currents were anticipated along that section of the Gulf Coast. Residents of Corpus Christi say they haven't seen such high tides in a very long time. High tides are expected to continue over the next couple of days. Swimmers and surfers are being advised not to enter the water at least until the middle part of the week because of strong currents.
