China's former rising political star arrives at court in Jinan for the verdict on charges of corruption, accepting bribes and abuse of power.
The finding - guilty on all counts.
The sentence - life imprisonment.
The court also ordered the seizure of Bo's personal assets.
Bo's career and his rise among China's leadership circles was stopped short last year when his wife was convicted of poisoning British businessman Neil Heywood.
During his trial he mounted an unexpectedly spirited defence, denouncing testimony against him by his wife as the ravings of a mad woman.
He repeatedly denied his guilt on any of the charges.
He did admit making some bad decisions and shaming his country by his handling of a former police chief who first told Bo that his wife had probably murdered Heywood.
