In celebration of the upcoming release of "Gravity," Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock was honored with a hand-and foot-casting ceremony at the forecourt of the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday (September 25). Bullock showed off her cement-caked hands to photographers, fresh from pressing them into wet cement. "Gravity" opens in theaters October 04.
An attorney for AEG Live gave his closing argument on Wednesday (September 25) in the Michael Jackson wrongful death trial, brought about by the singer's mother, Katherine. The trial, which has been going on for 21 weeks, is expected to wrap on Thursday (September 26) and be passed into the hands of the jury, who will decide if AEG was ultimately responsible for Jackson's death.
Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of "Romeo & Juliet," bringing major star power to the red carpet. Swift, who's said to be good friends with the film's star Hailee Steinfeld, posed for photos before heading inside the theater. The film opens in the U.S. on October 11.
The drunk driving case against Amanda Bynes has been moved to the mental health court at the request of her attorney. Her lawyer argued that the 27-year-old star was unable to stand trial in the case due to doubts about her mental competence. Her next court date in the case is scheduled for January 07.
