Paris Hilton spins into a new career

The girl once known as the life of the party is now the heartbeat of nightclubs around the world. Paris Hilton has added DJ to her resume after officially starting her career in 2012. SOUNDBITE: Paris Hilton, entertainer, saying (English): "I learned how to DJ about 10 years ago from my friend DJ AM. And then last year I got offered to close for Jennifer Lopez in a huge festival for 30,000 people. So that was my first concert. And I've been in Ibiza all summer as the resident DJ at Amnesia." The 32-year-old spins for approximately 3 hours and said no night is ever the same. SOUNDBITE: Paris Hilton, entertainer, saying (English): "Every night when I play it's always a different set. I'm always mixing right there on the spot different songs. And just really feeling the crowd and feeling what they want to hear and seeing what they react to the most." Her popularity and appeal have her traveling non-stop with appearances booked all around the world. SOUNDBITE: Paris Hilton, entertainer, saying (English): "I just got back from touring in Asia. I was playing in Hong Kong, in Singapore, which was so much fun. I love all my fans out there, they always have an amazing time. And next up I'm going to be playing in Ecuador and Russia and Germany and all over Europe." Over the past 13 years Hilton has created over 17 products, and is set to release her 16th perfume. She also has over 50 'Paris Hilton' stores around the world and recently opened her first hotel chain in the Philippines. Hilton said turning her name into a brand has always been a part of her plan. SOUNDBITE: Paris Hilton, entertainer, saying (English): "This is something I've been working very hard at since I was a teenager. So it's such an incredible feeling to have my name on products all around the world that are doing so successful." In between all the dates and products Hilton will release her new single, "Good Time" on October 1 featuring rapper and Cash Money label mate Lil Wayne.
