This is where 6-year-old Etan Patz used to live. The little boy disappeared 34 years ago, on his very first walk alone to the bus stop. His face was one of the first to appear on a milk carton, publicly advertising missing children. Pedro Hernandez, now in court, confessed to his murder in May - saying he lured the boy away and strangled him. But his lawyer says otherwise. Harvey Fishbein maintains the statements made by his client are not reliable. Even though Hernandez is deemed fit to stand trial, his lawyer says he suffers from schizophrenia. Fishbein also says that to his knowledge police have uncovered no evidence beyond the confession that points to his client as the killer.
