Julianne Moore received the 2,507th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, honoring a career that has garnered her four Oscar nominations. Moore said it was her love of books that first inspired her to get into acting. SOUNDBITE: Julianne Moore saying (English): "I did it because my favorite thing to do was read and it was a way for me to imagine that I was in the book and I loved it. I loved being inside the story." Moore came to fame in 1985 as a star of the CBS daytime soap opera, "As the World Turns." She received her first Oscar nomination in 1998 as best supporting actress for her portrayal of a porn star in "Boogie Nights," and in 2000 she earned a best actress nomination for "The End of the Affair." In 2003, Moore became the ninth person to receive two acting nominations in the same year: a best actress nomination for "Far From Heaven" and a best supporting actress nomination for "The Hours." She can next be seen in the re-make of the horror classic, "Carrie," due out October 18.
