Snoop Dogg reveals pressure of working with A listers

Rapper Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion talks about the pressure of working with A list talent and his love of hip hop. Rollo Ross reports.

US Rapper Snoop Dogg - or as he now likes to be called - Snoop Lion - teamed up earlier this year with pop star Miley Cyrus. However he admits it's challenging collaborating with such A list talent: Soundbite, English, Calvin Broadus JR. (Snoop Dogg), saying: "When you're working with mega-stars, there's more pressure to try to come up with that big record. And then the pressure of knowing that I've made successful records and they've made successful records and we just try to press the same volume that make that same thing come together to create that new thing." ''You Got What I Eat" is Snoop's follow up to 2012's viral hit "Pocket Like It's Hot" - and sees the 41-year-old working with rapper Bow Wow and model Kate Upton. Soundbite, English, Calvin Broadus JR. (Snoop Dogg), saying: "I love everything about hip hop. It's a young man's game. The youngsters got it right now and it's theirs and I love what they're doing with it and what they're doing for it. One thing about hip hop, it's international and it's universal. You can't really control it or put any restrictions on it because it's everywhere now. It's in different countries, it's all over the world. Hip hop is a part of everything that's moving nowadays." Snoop has no plans to quit the music industry, revealing he will definitely make another reggae record.
