ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Actor Brad Pitt says his new film "12 Years A Slave" is something he looks forward to showing to his children. "My eldest I would, right now. I'd rather for the others to get a little bit older and understand the dynamics of the world a little more," the actor told reporter Ann Curry during an interview with U.S. network NBC. Pitt not only appears in the film, but also produced the movie set in the plantations of sweltering southern Louisiana and based on the 1853 memoir of a free black man sold into slavery. The full interview will air on NBC News TODAY on October 16. "12 Years A Slave" will be released in North American theaters on October 18.
