No let-up in violence for the Eid holiday in Syria. Smoke rises above damaged buildings in suburban Damascus. A man can be heard saying there have been airstrikes since the early morning. As clouds gather above empty streets, people can be heard singing on the first day of Eid. But it is a different sound heard across the country as air strikes pound targets. Rights groups say at least 115,000 people have been killed in the conflict. Video which cannot be independently verified by Reuters shows streets haunted by war. The cameraman can be heard asking if everyone is ok. He shouts out asking if anyone is there. Little is left standing as the search goes on for survivors. The violence in Syria has continued despite a U.N.-backed mission to eliminate the country's chemical weapons. More than 2 million people have fled the country. Millions more have been internally displaced in a country that offers few safe havens.
